If Roche successfully buys DNA, there will be no more DNA.

Whats your upside vs Your downside? Upside is 2 more dollers per

If you were in it for the arbitrage trade then sell, its dumb to

My question is once the deal passes and DNA no longer is will the

All outstanding shares of DNA will be either converted to cash or
Roche stock at the equivalent value (so you would have more shares of Roche). I'm not sure which option Roche has chosen, but I would guess it'll probably be cash. well one can still buy and sell this stock at the moment correct? so If this is true, if the stock happens to go over the $95 dollar sale in the next few days, before the sale is final and names are chaged. it hasnt gone thru shareholders, yet to be officially approved, though

I heard the deal will not close till 06-30-2009. Thats a long time for

The deal will be done by May. Roche currently owns close to 56% of
Genentech. All Roche needs is 51% of the remaining shares. If they hit 90% they will close the merger in about a day. If they receive less than 90% they can send the offer to a shareholder vote using the newly acquired shares. All they need is a majority of shareholders to agree during that vote and the merger will be finalized. I'll just sit back until March 25th. More than likely this deal will

I think it depends if you tendered your shares. I know people who
